JIM OLSSON

Born in Sydney. Quit school at 15 to enrol in the National Art School. Worked in

publishing and advertising in NZ, Asia and Canada. Further studies in electronic

media at Ryerson Institute, Toronto.

In 1972 I returned to Australia and in 1988 held my first one man show in Brisbane.

Since then held another 43 one man shows and participated in the usual number of

mixed exhibitions (including Amsterdam in 1995, Birmingham in 1999 and San

Francisco in 2006).

In 1993 QPAT sponsored a one man show which toured nationally and

internationally.

Represented in private and corporate collections in Australia, Alaska, Canada, HK,

Japan, NZ, PNG, UK, Italy, Germany, Singapore, Switzerland and the Netherlands.

In 2008 I closed the studio and since then all my work has been on a computer.

After you phone or email me, I will tell you if the image is still available and, all

being well, we’ll determine the final size (I’m on a computer so size is flexible).

You will deposit half the price into my bank account and when cleared I will print

and frame. You will pay the balance and I will dispatch to you. I will keep you

updated on progress but figure two maybe three weeks.
